asked the Minister for Agriculture the amount of subsidy paid on fat cattle exported to date; and for what period he will continue to pay such subsidy.

Up to 9th June, 1961, total payments under this scheme, which applies to carcase beef as well as fat cattle, amounted to £673,113, of which £483,179 represented payments on fat cattle and £189,934 related to carcase beef.
