asked the Minister for Finance if his Department have an application from farmers in the Carrigans-Newtowncunningham area, County Donegal, for the drainage of the Cloon Burn and its tributaries; and if he proposes to have this work carried out.

This river will be considered for treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, but I cannot say at present when it can be reached.
