Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Searches in Offices of Registrar of Friendly Societies.

Gerard Sweetman Mr. Sweetman (for Mr. Ryan) Fine Gael

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the average number of searches per annum made by members of the public in the Office of the Registrar of Friendly Societies.

Comment on this

Without research which would take an undue amount of time, I cannot obtain an average but it may suffice, for the Deputy's purposes, to say that the actual number of searches made in the year ended 24th July, 1961, was 186.

Comment on this

It will be most interesting to see who asks the next question on behalf of the Deputy.

Who ultimately did?
