asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the Lonergan Estate, Tinelira, Ballinamult, County Waterford, for division amongst the small holders and landless men in the district.

The Land Commission had a detailed report obtained on this 143 acre estate some 12 years ago but decided at the time not to move for acquisition of the property. Certain further enquiries are currently being made in the matter but I am unable to forcast what the outcome may be.
