asked the Minister for Local Government what is the cause of the delay by Kerry County Council in providing a water supply scheme in the village of Brosna, County Kerry, where a sewerage scheme was provided about two years ago.

The existing water supply in Brosna has proved inadequate and the council are awaiting a report from their consulting engineer on a proposal to provide a regional water supply scheme to serve Brosna and other areas. I understand that the report will be submitted shortly.
