asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when it is intended to start building operations on the proposed new post office for Ballinasloe, County Galway.

Tenders for the erection of the new Post Office and Telephone Exchange buildings at Ballinasloe have been received and are under consideration in the Office of Public Works. It is, nevertheless, not possible yet to say when the actual building operations will commence.
