asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received an application for an amenity grant from Offaly County Council to help provide a landing jetty at Clonmacnoise; and, if so, what decision he has made on the matter.

I have received an application from Offaly County Council for a grant towards the provision of a landing stage at Clonmacnoise. Details of the proposal are being examined in my Department and I will make a decision on the application when this examination is completed.
