asked the Minister for Local Government if he is in a position to state when tenders will be issued for the Dundrum regional water supply, County Tipperary; and if he has sanctioned the compulsory purchase order for lands required for the purpose of carrying out this scheme.

Objections to the compulsory purchase order have been received by me and a public local inquiry is being arranged. Tenders cannot be invited until the necessary land and water rights have been acquired.
