asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position of the proposed group water scheme for the Ballyduff-Kilmeaden area, County Waterford.

Consideration is being given to the possibility of amalgamating this scheme with a similar adjoining scheme at Powersknock, Kilmeaden.I have arranged for an inspector of my Department to visit the area with an engineering officer of the local authority to discuss the position with the promoters.
