asked the Minister for Local Government if any negotiations have taken place between Sligo County Council and Sligo Corporation regarding the provision of a piped water supply for householders in the townland of Carraroe, near Sligo town; and, if so, with what results.

I am informed that the matter was considered by the corporation and the county council, but that it cannot be finalised until the results are available of the waste water survey at present in progress in the town.
