asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he has yet reached a decision regarding proposals that share fishermen should be insurable under the Social Welfare Acts with a view to enabling them to obtain unemployment benefit during periods of unemployment.

The examination of this matter has now reached an advanced stage and I hope to be able to announce a decision in the near future.
