asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has yet made a decision on the application of the Cork Corporation for a bridge order for the replacement of Parnell Bridge.

A public local inquiry into this application will be necessary. My Department is in communication with the Cork Corporation regarding certain matters which require clarification prior to the making of arrangements for holding the inquiry.
