The amount of money expended from the Hospitals Trust Fund during the past five financial years on (a) renovation and (b) new hospital building in Cork city and county was £34,000 and £456,000 respectively. It is anticipated that in the current financial year grants for renovation will amount to over £40,000 and for new hospital building will amount to £65,000 approximately.
