Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Turkey Purchases.

Oliver J. Flanagan Mr. O.J. Flanagan Fine Gael

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has seen the report of a survey carried out by a well-known British firm at the request of the British Turkey Federation, which showed that in 1962 and 1963 not more that an average of twenty-four per cent of the households in Britain had purchased a turkey during the Christmas season; if he has studied the report with particular regard to its effect on this country's turkey export trade; and, if so, with what results.
