asked the Minister for Local Government the present position in relation to the scheme of houses proposed to be built at Cheekpoint, County Waterford.

Approval to the acceptance of a tender for this scheme issued to Waterford County Council in July, 1963. I understand from the housing authority that the contractor, whose tender it was proposed to accept for the scheme, has not so far signed the contract. I have had no alternative proposal from the housing authority.
