asked the Minister for Local Government if he will expedite sanction of tenders for the erection of rural cottages submitted by Tipperary (NR) County Council.

The only housing tender from the Tipperary (NR) County Council at present before my Department for approval is that received on 22nd instant for the erection of six rural cottages. A decision on this tender will issue as soon as possible.

Proposals for the acceptance of tenders for 14 other cottages were approved recently.
