asked the Minister for Defence if he will give favourable consideration to increasing the amount of the annual grant payable to officers, NCO's and men of the Reserve.

The question of increasing annual grants for officers and reservists of the Reserve Defence Force is under consideration. I am unable to give any indication as to what the outcome may be or when a decision is likely to be reached.
