asked the Minister for Education the total amount paid in State subsidies to Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge up to 31st March 1964; and the amount it is proposed to pay to that organisation for the year to 31st March 1965 out of State funds.

£213,631 16s. 6d. has been paid in annual grants to An Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge since grants were first paid in 1943/44.

There is provision for the payment of a grant of £20,250 0s. 0d. to this body in the 1964/65 Vote.
