asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of each of the constituent colleges of the National University of Ireland and Trinity College, Dublin, the total amount of State subvention in the academic years 1933-34, 1943-44, 1953-54 and 1963-64.

Following is the statement:

STATE Grants paid to the University Colleges.

(a) Includes capital grant of £25,500 for equipment for Engineering School.

(b) Includes capital grant of £29,500 towards cost of additional accommodation.

(c) Includes capital grant of £900,000 for new Science block at Stillorgan.

(d) Includes capital grant of £20,000 towards cost of additional accommodation.

(e) Includes capital grant of £9,000 towards cost of additional accommodation.

(f) Includes capital grant of £50,000 towards repair of historic buildings.
