asked the Taoiseach if he will state for the latest date for which figures are available the number of persons at work in each of the three sectors of employment shown in Table 2, Paragraph 27 of the Second Programme for Economic Expansion; and the chief branches of of economic activity included in the “other domestic” sector, with the employment figures for each such branch.

The latest estimates available for the number of persons at work in the main branches of economic activity relate to April, 1963. These estimates, together with corresponding figures for earlier years, are set out in Table 15 of the publication "Economic Statistics—Budget 1964".
