asked the Minister for Justice what progress has been made in the examination of the report of the interdepartmental committees established in 1960 to examine the law relating to payment of compensation for malicious injuries; and if he is yet in a position to state when the examinaton will be completed.

The Government have decided that a summary of the report should be prepared for publication. The summary is with the printers at present and I hope to have it available in about a month or so.
