The net receipts from turnover tax up to 31st December, 1964, were £13,662,000 approximately.

As turnover tax chargeable in respect of transactions in any month is normally payable in the following month, the figure given represents the approximate amount paid in respect of transactions in the 13 months ended 30th November, 1964.
