Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Traffic Lanes in One-Way Streets.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether, to further the interest of road safety, he will arrange with the various authorities concerned that, in respect of one-way streets, a clear indication of traffic lanes will be made by painted lines on the roadway.

Road authorities have been advised by me as to the road markings that should be provided under section 95 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961. In Dublin city markings of the type mentioned by the Deputy have been provided in a number of instances and a further extension is planned.
