asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total generating capacity of the ESB on a percentage basis from (a) water power, (b) peat, (c) coal and (d) oil.

In regard to the last figure, I may add that the generating stations in which either coal or oil may be used are at present using oil, and for practical purposes, therefore, at the present time 40.4 per cent of generating capacity is based on oil.
