asked the Minister for Local Government if sanction has been given to Mayo County Council for the proposed extension of a water supply to 25 houses in Rinnanny, Foxford, County Mayo.

The plans, etc., for this extension are at present being examined in my Department.

Can the Minister say when the work will start?

I am afraid I cannot. The examination has not yet been completed. I am awaiting a report from my inspector.

Will the credit squeeze not hold it up?

So long as it does not hold the Deputy up, it is all right.
