asked the Minister for Local Government what is the position regarding the scheme for 208 houses at Lisduggan, Waterford City.

I have informed Waterford Corporation that the tender which they propose to accept for the Lisduggan scheme is unduly high and I have asked them to give urgent reconsideration to various aspects of their proposal, in conjunction with officers of my Department, with a view to securing a substantial reduction in the cost of the scheme.

Questions Nos. 51 and 52 postponed.
