andMr. T. O'Donnell asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he has received a communication dated 26th January from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions on behalf of the architectural maintenance staff at Shannon Airport requesting him to receive a deputation to discuss certain claims in regard to their conditions of employment; and, if so, when he proposes to meet this deputation.

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions in their letter of 26th January sought the reception of a deputation by my Department to discuss these claims.

Following examination of the matters at issue, arrangements have now been made for the reception of the deputation in the next few days.
