asked the Minister for Local Government when a new sewer will be installed at Newport, County Mayo.

There has been no change in the position in regard to this scheme since my reply to Question No. 15 by the Deputy on 17th May.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that Mayo County Council were informed on Saturday last through their manager that no money was available for this or any other such scheme in Mayo and that there was no likelihood that money would be made available?

I am not so aware.

I will show the Parliamentary Secretary the communication.
