Thomas Dunne Mr. T. Dunne Fine Gael

asked the Minister for Local Government the reasons for the delay in sanctioning contract documents for the drainage of the Richmond Road area, Templemore, County Tipperary, which were submitted by Templemore Urban District Council on 26th July, 1965; and the reason for the delay in approving the application to raise a loan to finance this work.

Contract documents and loan proposal for the scheme referred to by the Deputy are still under consideration in my Department. I am not in a position to say when a decision on these proposals is likely to issue.
