asked the Minister for Local Government on what date it is proposed to hold the local elections.

40.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is now in a position to name the date on which the local elections will be held.

I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions 77 and 78 together.

It is visualised that the polls at the local elections this year will be taken on or about 28th June.
