asked the Minister for Local Government when the new sewerage scheme may be started in Newport, County Mayo.

I am informed by Mayo County Council that difficulties have arisen in relation to the location of the outfall pipe for this scheme and that their consulting engineer is at present engaged in reviewing the contract drawings. I am not in a position to say, therefore, when the scheme is likely to be started.
