asked the Minister for Social Welfare (a) the total number of non-contributory old age pensioners in County Sligo; (b) the number drawing 52/6 per week; (c) the number drawing 47/6 per week; and (d) the number drawing under 47/6 per week.

The total number of non-contributory old age and blind pensioners in County Sligo is 3,411. Statistics are not compiled of the number of pensioners at the various rates in each county.

If we had room in the bus, we would give the old age pensioners a spin.

Spin all those you promised to spin.

It is a pity you are not Minister for Transport and Power and everybody would have a spin.
