Michael Carty Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence (Mr. Carty) Fianna Fáil

If any person feels himself entitled to the Emergency Service Medal in respect of service in the Local Defence Force during the Emergency, it is open to him to apply to my Department for it. Should the Deputy have any particular cases in mind about which there has been difficulty, perhaps he would let me know.
