asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that television reception in the Foxford area of County Mayo is very bad; and if he will have it improved.

I understand that the Foxford area, County Mayo, is one of a number of areas in the country where the quality of television reception is below the normal standard. The Authority hopes to complete its surveys of these areas within the next few months. It will then be in a position to decide on the further action to be taken to improve reception.
