Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment in Sea Fishing.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the number of men engaged in sea fishing at, and the number of boats fishing from, each of the ports of Howth, Killybegs, Arklow and Dunmore for each of the years 1957 to 1967.

The statistics collected by my Department are compiled according to ports at which the boats are normally based.

As the information sought is given in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, a Cheann Comhairle, with your permission, to circulate it in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

NUMBERS of men and boats engaged in sea fishing at the undermentioned ports in each of the years 1957 to 1967 inclusive.
