asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state with regard to County Kildare what proposals, if any, are before his Department for new industries or extensions to existing industry.

I am aware of six proposals for the establishment of new industries or for the extension of existing industries in County Kildare, Publicity has been given to three of these proposals. The stage has not yet been reached when publicity can be released about the remainder.
