asked the Minister for Defence if he will give the current position regarding the proposed hydrographic survey of coastal areas; and whether any progress has been made on the survey.

The question of establishing a hydrographic service is under consideration but I do not anticipate early developments in the matter.

Should that be "survey"?

Service.

It should be survey. The Minister hopes to do it, but he has no proper service through which to do it.

It is "survey" in the Question.

It should be survey.
