asked the Minister for Lands the area of land used by his Department for forestry purposes in County Mayo for the twelve months ended 30th November, 1968; and the area unplanted acquired by his Department for the same year.

During the twelve months ended 30th November, 1968, 1,482 acres were planted by the Forestry Division of my Department in County Mayo. The area acquired during that period was 1,203 acres of which 1,054 acres were classed as productive.
