asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he will take immediate steps to have a flasher or light provided on the Maiden buoy in Kenmare Bay, County Kerry, as this would be a guidance to trawlers and boats who use the bay at night.

As the Maiden Buoy referred to by the Deputy is one for which the Commissioners of Irish Lights have statutory responsibility I will bring the Deputy's suggestion to the notice of the Commissioners.
