asked the Minister for Local Government when he will give approval to the development scheme for the Clare Glens in North Tipperary.

The amenity scheme at Clare Glens is to be carried out jointly by Limerick County Council and Tipperary County Council, North Riding. Detailed plans and estimates for the scheme were received in December, 1968. These are now being examined and a communication on the matter will issue to the local authorities soon.

How long have these plans been in the Minister's Department awaiting sanction?

They were received in December, 1968.
