asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he is aware of the hardship caused by the closure of the social welfare office at Roscrea; what steps he proposes to take to ease the hardship; and if there will be any other such closures in the north Tipperary area in the near future.

I am not aware that any hardship has been caused by the closure of the local agency of my Department at Roscrea. Other such closures in the north Tipperary area are not at present contemplated.
