asked the Minister for External Affairs when the Government will be in a position to sign and initiate the ratification procedure for the European Code of Social Security and Protocol thereto concluded in the framework of the Council of Europe.

The question of the signature and ratification of the European Code of Social Security and Protocol thereto is at present being re-examined and it is expected that a decision in the matter will be reached at an early date.
