asked the Minister for Defence if there is any proposal for the letting of or the disposal of the military barracks at Boyle, County Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Portions of this property are used by my Department for military purposes and other portions are used for the accommodation of the local Garda. It is not proposed to dispose of the property as it continues to be required for State purposes. There is no vacant accommodation in the property available for letting.
