asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have any proceedings for the acquisition of the lands at Ballymureen, Littleton, Thurles, County Tipperary, as this holding is ideally situated for the relief of congestion amongst small farmers in the area.

Proceedings are in progress for compulsory acquisition of this 53-acre holding but it is still too early to indicate what the outcome will be; the question of price has yet to be settled.
