Contract documents for this scheme were received in my Department on the 5th February, 1970, and are being examined by my technical advisers. A decision will be given shortly. I have received no application for a loan to finance the scheme.

This scheme is the subject of correspondence between my Department and the county council and it would be premature to deal with the question of a loan at this stage.
