asked the Minister for Justice the estimated cost to his Department per week of providing Garda escort protection to purveyors of cement from Northern Ireland being sold in the Republic.

The estimated cost of the special escort protection referred to in the question is not available and I do not propose to waste the time of the Garda Síochána by asking them to undertake the work of compiling it.
