asked the Minister for Local Government if he will expedite the sanctioning of plans and the allocation of money for house building in Youghal, County Cork.

These plans will be discussed by technical advisers of my Department with the housing authority in the near future. I will then give a decision on them as quickly as possible. The necessary capital will be allocated when the proposals have reached the stage when work can be commenced.
