asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to commence the drainage of the Owenmore and Arrow rivers in County Sligo.

The engineering survey of the Owenmore catchment area has been resumed this year with a view to the preparation of a drainage scheme but at this stage I cannot forecast when actual drainage works can be commenced.
