asked the Minister for Finance if he will indicate the present position regarding the proposed new primary school approved for Ballinadee, Bandon, County Cork; and when building work is likely to commence.

Working drawings for the erection of this school have been prepared. The reverend manager has been asked to obtain planning permission and when this is received tenders will be invited.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary state if funds are available for this work?

Yes. This school is on the 1971-72 priority list and the reverend manager has been asked to obtain planning permission.

When planning permission is obtained, can advertisements be issued?

From the information I have the school is on the priority list.

That is satisfactory.
