asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new primary school at Clara, Parish of Truagh, County Monaghan.

A grant for the erection of a new central school at Clara, County Monaghan was sanctioned on 26th February, 1971. Due to the very large volume of school building projects already on hands it will not be possible to commence work in the current financial year.

However, I am hopeful that the scheme will proceed in 1972-73.
